Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA
RDLA provided design services for this Central Massachusetts campus strengthening universal access to several major buildings on a steep site. The design features new ramps, walks, terraces and stairs that fit within the context of the campus architecture with minimal impact to a mature landscape. -
Roemer Plaza, Suffolk University, Boston, MA
This plaza was designed to connect a new dorm with the main campus building. The plaza features accessible walkways, a contemporary bridge, urban tolerant plantings and seating areas. -
International School of Boston, Cambridge, MA
RDLA designed the Master Plan and Phase One improvements for the school's recreation space. The design features accessible paths and a new artificial turf field to allow for year-round use. -
Merrimack College, North Andover, MA
RDLA worked with the campus architect to design a new main entrance into the college campus. The design features new brick columns with lights, a realigned entrance roadway with a vegetated median and disease resistant Elm trees. -
St. Marks School, Southborough, MA
This courtyard is a green oasis surrounded by St. Mark’s historic architecture. RDLA was asked by St. Marks School to design a courtyard that would provide an outdoor performing terrace, new seating and an accessible walkway to the arcade. The resulting design includes a bluestone terrace, granite staircase, wood benches, new lawn areas and planting.
